Donate to OLLI-UW

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Washington (OLLI-UW) is a financially self-sustaining program that receives no state funding. Fees paid by our members and interest from our endowment finance a portion — but not all — of OLLI-UW's programming costs. 

Your support matters — it is vital to a growing, thriving institute. When you make a contribution to OLLI-UW, you join a special group of people whose financial support keeps our programming vibrant. Gifts to OLLI-UW help us maintain low membership and course fees and enable us to continue to offer outstanding learning opportunities to our members.

Ways to Give

There are several ways you can support the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Washington.

Any gift can be given in honor or memory of a loved one.

  We encourage members to consider including OLLI-UW in their estate plans. Consider leaving a gift in your will or giving through a charitable trust, gift annuity, life insurance policy, pension plan, IRA or donation of real estate. A range of giving mechanisms can provide you income for a lifetime along with valuable tax savings. The University of Washington offers a full range of charitable gift-planning services. • Consider an endowment gift
  Endowments are permanent funds, and an endowed gift to OLLI-UW will support its mission and programming in perpetuity. Endowed gifts are invested in the UW's Consolidated Endowment Fund, which combines assets for investment purposes. This means your gift has the potential to grow substantially over time. Helen Oppenheim Lunch & Learn Endowment

Launched in 2016, the Helen Oppenheim Lunch & Learn Endowment aims to raise $25,000 to pay for honorariums for Lunch & Learn speakers at Trilogy at Redmond Ridge. By having an honorariums fund, we hope to be able to attract a wider range of presenters to Trilogy. Make a gift online.
